Windsor Armchair

Carved Knuckle-Arm, Windsor Hoop-Back Chair, western Connecticut, ca. 1780-1795. Mixed woods with original red paint and varnished surface. This chair exhibits great form, and is in excellent condition. The turned spindle back, above a shaped seat, is supported by delicate turned legs which are slightly splayed.

Dimensions: 38 1/2"h at crest, 16 1/2"w x 17 1/2"d; 17 1/2" seat height
