Wilhelm Binder in partnership with Dominikus Rudolph took over Dominikus Kott (est. 1829) in 1898 and became one of the largest and most prominent silver and gold manufacturers in Germany by the turn of the 20th century. Binder’s silverware reflects the changing styles of the late 19th century and early 20th century and was highly regarded for both his design and superb workmanship.
