Condition: Excellent. Lined, in a period gilt frame.
This view of Rockwell Falls has all the trademarks of Chambers’ work. The rock and tree formations are painted in a fanciful manner with figures in the foreground also executed in the Chambers style. Chambers tended to paint the same subject matter multiple times, although this view is the only one known to date.
