New England, probably Massachusetts, ca. 1760-1775

Maple, pine secondary

Over-all in fine condition; shrinkage cracks to the sides of the case, repairs to lid hinges and lock catch, and other minor repairs to lid. The feet are fully intact with only minor shrinkage cracks and a few replaced glue blocks.

Provenance: Originally descended through the Solomon Lincoln Family; The Collection of Peter and Judi Hersey, Hingham, Massachusetts.
