Sack Back Windsor Armchair
Pennsylvania, probably southeastern, ca. 1795.
Over-all in great condition, retains an old varnish finish (19thc.).

Having a great form, the chair stands at full height with a sack-back above spindles flanked by shaped arms supported by turned posts with a wonderful shaped saddle seat supported by splayed, well-defined turned legs joined by stretchers.
