Excellent condition, some pitting and losses to paint,old oxidized black paint.
This is a wonderful early example of one of Robert Wood’s patented work in the classical style as seen in the design of these urns. The well defined shaped, folded edge above a ribbed body flanked by handles sits on a separate pedestal base with canted corners. The rarity is complimented by its untouched , original condition and old surface.
