Rare Tolé-ware Bombé-Form Tea Caddy

Probably English, late 18th century.
Painted tin, fitted pine interior, original rococo brass
Condition: Great condition. retaining the original paint decoration with minor losses and touch-ups, original interior and lock.
The bombé-form tea caddy is decorated with still-lifes of fruit and flowers on three sides and the lid, with a bird’s nest depicted on the back side.
