Rare Sheraton One-Drawer Stand

New England, probably Vermont or New Hampshire, ca. 1820. Cherry top, birch, mahogany veneer drawer face, pine secondary. Excellent condition, retains the original red wash and brass bail.
In a rare form and desirable size, the one drawer stand, with a slightly over-hanging top has a shelf with a shaped cupid’s-bow gallery joined with four delicately turned tapered legs ending on turned ball feet.
