Fine condition, brasses appear to be original although a few have been moved, minor repair to the front left foot due to wear, retains a late 19th c. varnish finish.

In a rare diminutive size this compact and well proportioned desk on frame is most likely from the Connecticut River Valley. The desk opens to a fitted interior with shaped valences and pigeon holes over drawers. The desk is fitted to a frame with moldings and is supported by cabriole or “bandy” legs with a shaped apron ending on pad feet.
