For collectors of J. Howard and Company weathervanes, the peacock may be the most elusive form and is therefore highly coveted. Once again, J. Howard and Co. have mastered the sculptural beauty, in this case, of a peacock with its appealing curvilinear lines. The peacock’s large, highly decorated tail helped stabilize and balance the full cast zinc body, another testimony of the manufacturing ability of this company.
