Rare Miniature Chippendale Secretary

Mahogany; pine and white oak, secondary woods.
Over-all in excellent condition, minor repairs to molding and drawer lip, original hardware and hinges.
Provenance: De-accessioned from a prominent Virginia museum.
This rare period miniature secretary desk and bookcase is constructed with fine dovetails and carving, most likely made in the coastal region of Connecticut or Massachusetts. The secretary is further complimented with an exceptional surface.
