Rare Late Federal Diminutive Cabinet

Figured maple, cherry, mahogany veneer; secondary wood, poplar.
Over-all in great condition, retaining an early varnish finish, minor imperfections, wooden pulls repositioned.
In a rare form, this diminutive cabinet serves its practical needs while being finely crafted as a work of art. The molded-edge top slightly over-hangs a case fitted with a long drawer above two tomb-stone paneled doors surrounded by mahogany veneer, flanked by carved rope-twisted and ring turned posts on a blocked base, all supported by turned and carved tapered feet.
