Rare Horse and Sulky Weathervane

American, probably New England, Maker unknown, ca. 1875-1890.
Full body molded copper, copper tubing, zinc head.
Over-all in great condition, traces of old gilt paint over original gilt with verdigris surface.
This rare model of a Dexter horse with sulky and rider exhibits great motion and form. It is unusual to see full-body wheel rims with spokes and the supported bar fitted with original balls.
