Rare Early Carved Full-Length Figure

American, possibly Native American (Inuit), early 19th c.
Carved wood, appears to be pine
Over-all in excellent condition, some wear to original surface, commensurate with age.

This unusual, stylized carved figure of a man standing with open hands shares features of some other known indigenous carved figures, however, as an exceptional example of folk art it is certainly open for interpretation.
