Rare Decorated Marriage Jug

English, Shorthose and Company, dated: 1821.
Pearlware with enamel decoration and transfer print Inscribed and dated in purple under the spout: Richard & Martha Pursell 1821, painted on one side with a coat-of-arms inscribed above: Plaisters, and on the other transfer-printed and colored with a rustic view of a farm family. Impressed: Shorthose & Co.
Condition:  Minor age check probably in the firing, some wear, otherwise in a remarkable state of preservation.
