Rare and Diminutive Size Federal Sideboard

Mahogany, crotch mahogany veneer, flame birch veneer, pine secondary woods.
This rare diminutive size sideboard shares many attributes associated with the works of Judkins and Senter, such as, the contrasting flame birch and mahogany veneer drawer faces surrounded with intricate bands of inlay, the arched center section and the cylindrical tapering legs. The interior construction of the drawer sides and drawer bottoms are also distinct features. The top is highlighted with a band of inlay above a series of drawers.
Condition: Fine condition, no structural repairs or restoration to the exterior case except for replaced brass pulls. The interior drawer runners and bottoms on the drawer blades are restored. Wonderful figuring to the mahogany.
