Queen Anne Tea Table

Probably Rhode Island, Ca. 1750-1770. Mahogany, secondary glue blocks, white pine. Condition: Customary wear, minor imperfections, one small applied molding restored, glue blocks reset. This rare form of a tea table has a rectangular top with blocked-end corners and an applied molded edge above a shaped cupid’s bow form skirt supported by straight turned legs ending on pad feet.
