Queen Anne Foot Stool
Massachusetts, probably Boston area, ca. 1730-1750.
Fine condition, very minor imperfections.
Queen Anne foot stools are becoming increasingly more popular. This fine example has great form and has survived in a remarkable state of preservation for an early example. The upholstered slip seat nests on a frame supported by cabriole legs with rounded knees ending on pad feet.
