Queen Anne Drop-Leaf Table
SOLD
New England, probably Massachusetts
Ca. 1750.
Mahogany, maple and chestnut secondary woods
In a rare desirable diminutive size, the table exhibits some early features in a Queen Anne drop-leaf table, most notably the thin full disc pad feet and straight cabriole legs. The leafs open to virtually a round top making it more like a tea table. The table is in a remarkable state of preservation.
