Queen Anne Armchair

Probably Connecticut or Massachusetts, ca. 1760-1770.
Maple with rush seat.
Overall in excellent condition with old refinished surface, replaced rush seat.
Having a yoked-crest above a well-defined vasiform splat flanked by shaped, carved arms supported by blocked and ring-turned front stiles joined by a bulbous turned front stretcher, ending on pad feet.
