The English have always been known for their sporting art.
Paul Jones, like many other contemporary 19th century English
artists, painted endearing scenes of pointers, setters, spaniels
and terriers in hot pursuit of prey in the rugged English landscape.
No country house is complete without at least a pair of these paintings.
