Parade Eagle, American, stamped on tail, Patented 1891 New York. Pressed sheet brass,gilt, soldered at seams.
Excellent condition, customary wear, retains an original tarnished  and gilt surface. Parade eagles were carried during patriotic events and celebrations and were usually adorned with American flags.
