Pair of Chippendale Carved Side Chairs

Walnut, pine slip seats.
Both chairs are in equally great condition, both with original slip-seat frames, minor abrasions.
This pair of Chippendale side chairs is adorned with three carved shells. The crest rails with carved swept back ears are above vasiform pierced splats with trapezoid seat frames supported by cabriole legs ending on carved ball and claw feet. The stiles and crest rails are further complimented with an incised line.

Dimensions: 40”h, 18 ½”h (seat). 23 ½”w x 21 ½”d (furthest points)
