Painted Trade Sign, “Fish and Oyster Market”

Condition: Excellent condition, original paint, very minor losses
this very appealing trade sign is decorated with a dark blue smalt ground color with silver lettering. The fish, in lighter blue, is inscribed, “If It Swims We Have It.” With screw pockets on the bent end, the sign is intended to be viewed from both sides.
