Pine, polychrome paint decoration
In a rare form, perhaps used as a bible box, the slide-lid is decorated with an eagle with out-stretched wings above a song bird inside a heart shaped vine with tulips.
Condition: Fine condition, old varnish removed revealing the vibrant colors, customary wear, very minor paint loss.
