Paint Decorated One Drawer Blanket Chest

Eastern white pine, chestnut secondary wood.

Excellent condition retaining the original paint decoration and brass pulls.

The most distinctive and desirable feature of this lift-top blanket chest is the rarity of the green, grain-paint decoration. Paint intact, there are only minor losses to the top. A wonderful example of a New England high country painted piece of  furniture.
