Oval Nantucket Basket with One Handle

Woven rattan, mahogany bottom.
The basket is in over-all good condition, early repair to broken handle, wonderful patina.
A rare form, having one carved handle, which is now wired to the rim allowing the basket to move freely. The desirable small size is complimented by the quality of the tightly woven rattan.
