Full-body molded copper, sheet copper, cast zinc, possibly missing wrought iron bar.
In great condition, with an exceptional verdigris surface, this example of an iconic “Index” horse weathervane is a masterpiece. The well-defined sculptural features of the zinc head, as well as the crisp and bold impression of the tail elevate the beauty of the piece.
