Plaster with white paint, brass torchières.
Over-all in fine condition, some areas of touch-ups, minor imperfections, torchières of a later date.

Near life-size, these wonderful figures depict Hygeia holding a cup and snake and Ceres with a fruiting grapevine crown, both in contrapposto poses with raised arms holding torchières, standing on conforming, molded plinths.
