Carved wood, painted, horse-hair, leather ears, iron wheels
Condition: Over-all in great condition. Minor imperfections, original paint.
A well-proportioned, finely executed, carved body of a horse, retaining all of its original parts. These were quite fashionable toys during the second half of the 19th century, as is often seen in great American portrait paintings.
