A rare unique model of a horse-drawn sleigh with husband and wife dressed for the elements. This beautifully carved and rendered piece has wonderful folk art appeal, as seen in the stylized manner of the horse and the posturing of the figures. Originally found in Maine, it captures the spirit of winter in New England.
