Full body copper, copper tubing, cast zinc horses head and riders head, iron.
Condition: The weathervane itself is in excellent condition, gilt surface is old but not original.
This desirable form is one with great form and motion and represents America’s first sports past-time, Horse and Sulky racing. This example has great definition to the cast zinc heads of both the horse and jockey.
