Horse and Jockey Weathervane

Attributed to Washburne & Co., New York, ca. 1895-1905. Full body copper, copper tubing, jockey and head of horse are cast zinc. Condition: retains an early gilt surface and paint, surface analysis report is available. The rarity of this model is the galloping horse with the jockey in the up-right position. Based on family history, this piece has been indoors since the early 1960’s. Provenance: Private collection, Buffalo, New York.
