Hepplewhite Work Table

Probably Connecticut or Massachusetts, ca. 1790-1805.
Cherry, pine and chestnut secondary woods.
Condition:  Excellent condition, retain a 19th c. varnish.
This rare and unusual form has a generous over-hanging top with applied molded edges above a drawer supported by delicate tapered legs with a molded edge.  Tray top work tables in this form are not commonly seen.
