Hepplewhite One Drawer Stand

New England, probably North Shore, ca. 1795-1810.
Birch and Maple, flame birch veneer, banding; white pine secondary.
Over-all in excellent condition, original oval brass, retaining an early finish with wonderful patina.
The one board over-hanging top is highlighted with a carved edge, over a drawer with a flame birch panel surrounded by banding while supported by slender tapered legs. Beautiful proportions.
