Condition: Fine condition, natural oxidation.
This iconic example of Remington’s work has been replicated from the original mold for a limited edition run of 500 castings produced at each the Tallix Foundry and the Joel Meisner Foundry issued in the name of Herbert Lee Jr. and registered at the permanent archives of the Buffalo Bill Historical Center.
The Bronco Buster was the first sculpture Frederic Remington turned his hand to, and it became his most well-known individual work of art. After this limited run reproduction, the original mold was destroyed. This particular piece was cast at the Tallix Foundry.
