Unsigned, ca. 1900.
Oil on board, appears to be in the original gilt frame.
Excellent condition, virtually no signs of in-painting under UV light.
In a large format, this imposing size Atlantic salmon with a fly in its mouth was most likely painted as a memory of a catch.
