Fireplace Tools and Stand

A pair of Federal lemon-top tools, tongs and shovel. American, New York or New England, ca. 1810-1820.
The stand dates from the late 19th.c, comprised of a period brass lemon top handle with a later wrought iron base. The tools are brass with steel shafts and forged iron shovel blade. Great condition, wonderful flare to the shovel blade.
