Fine and Rare Federal Bow Front Chest

Over-all in fine condition, original brass, partially restored foot facing on rear foot.

The Figured mahogany top with banded inlay edge above four cockbeaded long drawers each veneered with two barber-pole traced birdeye maple oval panels above a shaped apron with inlaid banding is supported by tall swept French feet. The use of birdseye maple oval panels makes this a rare example.
