Provenance: Possibly from the cabinet shop of John and Thomas Seymour. The attributes of this card table, such as, the quality of the craftsmanship, the lunette banding, the details of the carved, reeded vase and ring turned tapered legs and the inlaid bird’s-eye maple crossbanded panels, qualify this piece to be attributed to either the Seymour’s cabinet shop or one their close contemporaries.
