Federal Slant-Top Desk with a Shaped Skirt

Condition: Retains original red wash and varnish surface
The tall base with the lobed, shaped skirt, supported by a more refined flared French foot, are the desk’s strongest features. Coupled with the original surface and overall condition, they constitute a fine example of high country furniture.
