Mahogany, mahogany veneer, flame satin-wood panels, pine secondary wood.
Excellent condition, early paper-lined interior.
The quality of this box and the selection of the book-matched veneers suggest it was made by a highly skilled craftsman most likely working in a major center such as Portsmouth.
