Exceptional Burl Bowl

Condition: Great condition, evidence of once having an iron handle, wonderful color and patina.
Provenance: Garth’s Auction, Delaware, Ohio, November 1971; Vogel Collection, Sotheby’s, January 2019.
Having great cylindrical form with steep sides and a wide collar, the interior lip is finished with an incised line around the rim. Complimented with an exceptional surface, this is one of the finest examples we have ever had.
