English or American, late 19th century. Marble, bronze, glass. The standish is mounted with a bronze dog clasping a gilt metal filigree feather-form pen highlighted with turquoise enamel, the stand is fitted with inkwells and raised on scrollwork feet. Condition: Fine condition, some discoloration, one glass ink well, early replacement.
