Cow Weathervane

Attributed to Cushing and White, Waltham, Massachusetts, late 19th. c.
Full body copper, copper tubing, cast zinc head and tail.
Untouched original condition, exceptional verdigris surface with faint traces of gold leaf, some wear commensurate with age.
This perhaps is one of the best examples of a Cushing cow we’ve had to date. The clean lines and wonderful proportions are further complimented by the remarkable state of preservation.
