Mahogany,mahogany veneer; pine secondary wood.
This fully developed mirror with its carved and pierced fret work on the scroll boards and ears exhibits the features found on Rococo furniture coming out of or made for the London market. With great proportions and well executed carving, this example is the finest of its kind.
Condition: some minor restoration and cleaning to the gilt surface, mirror replaced although the backboards appear to be original, customary shrinkage to veneer.
