Over-all in excellent condition; original throughout including mirror plate and backboards with minor repairs.

This rare, diminutive size Chippendale mirror has survived in a remarkable state of preservation. The scrolled arch crest with rosettes and inlay is surmounted with a carved gilt urn with sprigs and sits above a looking glass framed with a carved gilt edge with an inlaid border flanked by additional matching sprigs.
