Chippendale Reverse Serpentine Graduated Four Drawer Chest, Litchfield County, ca. 1780-1790. Cherry, poplar and white pine secondary.  Excellent condition, retains an early, if not, original surface, early replaced brass.  The form and execution of the carved ball and claw feet along with the gadrooning are typical of chests from this area.
