Transitional Chippendale Inlaid, Bow-Front Bureau, attributed to William Lloyd, Massachusetts, ca. 1785-1795.
Cherry, mixed wood inlays, white pine secondary. Excellent condition, original throughout, old surface. The quality of the cabinetry, including the sohphistication of the quarter-fan inlays on the drawer faces, regionalizes the piece and exemplifies Lloyd’s work.
