Chippendale Arm Chair


Probably Connecticut, ca. 1770-1785. Mahogany, pine slip seat. The chair has a wonderful shaped carved crest above a diamond form pierced splat flanked by shaped arms with carved knuckles supported by straight Chippendale legs with stretchers. Excellent condition, customary wear with an early varnish finish.
